Just a cubby it looks like
The left shelf looks like a cubby, I got my idea from several members on the forum and built my own as well. I posted my build on my tag line. Its simple and nothing sophisticated like others. But it works for me.

looks cool! I sleep in my rig as well but I got a question. Why didn't you just sleep on the double decker? Meaning support the double decker from underneath. Then build out over the seating area to flatten it out. I understand the double decker is not designed for sleeping but with support underneath why can't we use it as such?
Yeh, I've just left my DD down for the past who knows how long. I've used it like a handful of times in the up position.
I sleep in my car regularly with the DD down, a pad and it's comfy as heck.
I recently removed the DD to put in a new floor (same level as the DD in the down position) and a slide out shelf.
