There is a product called Desolve-it (citrus based) sold at Wal-mart that will take off emblems, vinyl lettering and glue off quickly without hurting the paint, works much better then anything I

Hair dryer/blower. Wait till the glue gets sticky enough so you can peel the emblem right off. Careful, the emblem will get hot!

like i force said blow dryer and use a old credit card. then use the stuff that Koz said to clean off the gunk.. lol

I have an extra rear piece garnish obove the plate and it doesnt have anything holding it in the back. and it was harder with it off the car.

A real good trick to removing emblems is to get some fishing line between your fingers and slowly work under emblem and paint. It slices right through the foam adhesive. I doesnt hit your paint. . it leaves the adhesive to be removed by rubbing hard with index finger. . after all the foam is gone. . use like : dissove-it / citrus based remover/oops etc.
Good luck.. .and post pix

When I De-badged my WRX I used a blow drier and dental floss to get the emblem off. Just make sure its nice and hot and slowly work the floss behind the emblem. Then use the above methods to get the glue off.

Best method right there. I used dental floss over fishing line cuz its thin. Saw it back and forth, no harm to your paint, and it comes off fast, then use some Goof Off or other adheasive remover and its clean as a whistle.
