removing front doors!

I live in panama city and spring break is almost here!!
I want to remove my front doors!
Does anyone have any information on how do do so? I have a idea about how to do it, but it would be nice to hear from someone who has done it incase there are difficultys that I don't know about.
Also some details on disconnecting the door wires

Id imagine its not to hard. On my 2nd gen there are 2 bolts on each hinge that bolt the hinge to the body. or there are two bolts hold ing the hinge to your door. That is where you are going to want to unbolt it from. Make sure you disconnect the wiring harness for your power windows, locks and what ever else you have that may be electronic in your doors first. When i swapped doors on my 82 camaro i found it was easier to get the door on straight and tight by taking the fender loose. That way i could have the door shut on the latch than bolt it back while its shut. Thats basically what you need to do. As far as disconnecting the harness you probably will have to disconnect it from the switched or whateve else is in there and pull the harness through the door if there isn't a actual connection between the two harnesses or you may be lucky that you can just didconnect it and leave it in the door you might not.

Yeah I saw he took his off, he gave me some info on how to do it a while ago When he did his.

The doors are easy to remove but i think the wiring harness inside the door has to be strung through the door and out the harness hole, i dont remember there being a plug in the hinge area to unplug the harness. That will leave you with a wire harness dangling somewhere on the floor board. Becareful with that. (If this is the case with 4runners, i know some vehichles are like this)

Keep me posted- I'd love to take my doors off this summer/fall. Maybe even sew some cloth half doors or something

It would be cool if anyone sold the rope/net kind of "doors" for when you take the doors off. That would be perfect for this fall.
