Removing lower ball joint from bracket?

I'll be replacing my lower control arms next week. I need to remove the bracket that the lower ball joint is connected to so I can install it on the new lower ball joints on the LCA's. How can I free up the lower ball joint bolt from this bracket? I'm thinking place in a vice and use a BFH on the nut backed off the threads?? Will this work?

And to reinstall can I just use an impact?

I just did this. I replaced the whole arm with oem ones. Since we both dont need to save that ball joint I just hit it out with a hammer. Couple smacks and it popped right out (on a rusty lower).

Awesome. So you didn't have to put in a vice right?
