Removing resognator, getting new exhaust tip. What to get??

I decided that I was going to have meineke remove my resognator and put on a new muffler tip. Do you guys have any suggestions on what tips I should get? I think I'm going to have them move the muffler off to the side, but I'm not sure yet.

Here is mine, a Silverline stainless steel tip. I'm very happy with it.
You can see in the last pic that the guy was able to utilize the OEM hanger that was for the resonator.

I had them weld on a small bend of plain jane stainless tubing. no bling for me... Exit is same as above

lonesouth, how much did the sound change? My tailpipe is bashed in from the rocks so needs to be moved but I really don't care for it being louder.

I didn't notice any change in sound at all...it did cut down notably on the exhaust smell with the rear window down. That was the only reason I did it. Cost me about $30 at the exhaust shop.

I didn't want a louder sound either, but use the rear window quite a bit, plus have a hitch mounted cargo carrier I use occasionally, so I did the side exhaust mod.

Re sound, it is actually slightly louder than with the OEM resonator on, even with windows up and stereo on with modest volume, but not objectionably so to me. And keep in mind, I didn't want it to be louder. When I get on the pedal hard, such as to pass, it is quite a bit louder than stock, but that's a very small percentage of the time I am driving, so I don't find that objectionable.

Thanks guys, I'll give it a try and see how it works. A bit more noise under throttle is ok and I can always revert to the resonator if I don't like it.

I think that's it. The "out" side of my Silverline tip is 3.5" ext dia. The "supply side" is 3" ext dia, but I believe it must be 2.5" inside dia to accept the small curved section of pipe they added when they installed mine.
