Removing the roof instructions please

Hey all,

I have a 1985 4Runner - I have only just bought it and have crawled all over it as well as the net looking for instruction on the removal.

Has anyone got some or some ideas as to where i can get them from?

Nothing to it, just remove the trim around the edges and remove like 18 or so bolts.
Unplug the wiper wiring harness and washer line in the back left corner too.

And roll down the rear window first.

Removing the top:
1.) Open the rear window fully.
2.) Remove the screws and garnish.
3.) Disconnect the wire connector and washer hose. Then, cover the hole.
4.) Remove bolt "A".
5.) Remove all other bolts.
6.) Take cover top off.

Installing the top:
1.) Tighen bolts "B"
2.) Put on the cover top
3.) Tighten bolts "C"
4.) Tighen bolts "D"
5.) Loosen bolts "C"
6.) Tighten bolts "E"
7.) Tighten all bolts except "A"
8.) Tighten bolt "A"

Haha thats what the manual says anyway. I think the reasoning behind it is they're afraid if you tourque a bolt down too much and another one not enough, you'll crack the top. I followed those once, had the top of multiple times, and my s**** still running primo. Its probably more so a way for them to cover their a$$ like alot of things today.
