removing the steps?...help

Before I start removing my runnig board's,Anyone have some advice/tip's on how to remove the Running board's Easy & painless?

A torque wrench and 15-30 mins of your life lol. It is very simple. Only 8 bolts per side.

Two of the bolts are attached to the frame, the others will fall off in your hand. It is very simple. You might want to have your exaust cold when you do it since some of the bolts are by the exaust.

might want to spray the bolts with some penetrating spray as well.

it is really a piece of cake....i did mine in like 15 minutes and none of the bolts were even on that tough....easiest mod yet

you actually undo the bolts on the top of the board right and not the ones on the bottom of the board?

If I am thinking what you are asking then yes, it is just the bolts on the side. You will see a bracket coming from the running boards to the frame of the truck., Where the bracket touches the frame, those are the bolts that you want to remove. Let me know if this made any sense.

perfect, those other screws at the bottom of the board are holding the board to the bracket right?

yea i'm not sure if i should take them off now, or wait till later on when i get new rims and tires to sort of make it look like i got a lift to you know?
