Removing window deflector??

I just bought a 4runner and the prior owner put dark tinted wind deflectors on all the windows. They look glued on and I want to take them off. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

A little heat + dental floss. Remove on a warm day, or heat up the adhesive with a hair dryer. Be careful with heat guns, you don't want to melt any molding/trim. Floss between the deflectors and the truck.


Any remaining adhesive on paint can be removed with a clay bar or a little elbow grease.

Adhesive on trim or molding - use duct tape to pull it off.
