Replace Lower Rear Control Arm - Help!

Can someone walk me through replacing a lower rear control arm? Sadly a good sameritan helping my wife change a flat decided this was a good jacking point and this is now bent.

If possible, please include any torque specs.

Much appreciated!

Hit the closest junkyard and pick up a replacement lower rear arm. Shouldn't be too expensive compared to hitting the dealer which would be an arm and a leg and then some.

two bolts (don't remember torque spec but tighten enough that it won't come apart). Sorry can't be of more help but I just hand tighten all of my parts (except for engine/tranny related bolts/nuts) and give a little extra umph.

should only take you 30 min tops? while you're at it make sure the upper links are not bent too (not sure how severe the lower was bent so hence the recommendation).

good luck

AFAIK the only special thing is to remember to rotate the bolt, not the nut when unscrewing, as nuts have notches to prevent loosening.

And obviously you don't want to move the vehicle with the arm off...

If the bolts never been off will take some grunt. I went and bought an impact gun for this very project last week and it makes a world of difference!
