Replace passenger Rear Seat belt-anyobody done it?

2006 4Runner Sport Edition

I have a rip in my rear passenger seat belt. It makes it difficult for my son to buckle himself in and for the belt to retract. Anybody ever replace one of these? I seached but did not see anything definitive. Looks like the assembly part number 73360-35321-B0 is it.

Any help appreciated

It is a simple unbolt and bolt-on affair. I think they are 17mm heads that hold the seatbelt in. When installing the new unit, make sure that you are holding it level otherwise the seatbelt will not come out.

Yeah just a bunch of clips and push pin type fasteners. I'd probably grab some extras as you will probably break 1 or 2.

Just go about it slowly, if something does not want to come apart/off look and see what's holding it up. Those interior panels aren't cheap.
