Replaced antenna - now radio static when truck is running

I put in a new antenna and ran the wires the same way the old ones were. My reception is perfect until i start the truck. While its running its all staticy. I see theres a bunch of wires and computer chips and shit under the dash there, which I assume is my problem.... but thats the same place the OEM antenna wire ran. I can't figure it out. Has this happened to anyone else?

Run a ground strap from your firewall to you hood. It's RF interference from your ignition wires. I don't know what wires you have but perhaps they need to be replaced as well. But having a ground strap to the hood should eliminate the interference.
