I'm just sharing today about the replacement of my brake pads and rotors. Here are some pointers that you may want to do first before finally replacing the rotors. This is based on experience. (rotor was in there for 110000 miles, never been touched or removed previously). that one was fused into the hub. It separated with a single wack of slide hammer. The other one on the other hand wasn't sprayed with PBBlaster and was not separating at all. I sprayed it with PB Blaster last night, did a couple of wack and still fused there. So I ended up heating the rotor and used a hammer hitting it all around in the front and around the rotors and it broke loose after a single slide hammer use.
I think I know the reason why those calipers keep failing and the piston is frozen. It's due to the brake pads unable to move in and out due to the dirt accumulating there and rusting and causing the pads to overheat. the heat then transfers to the piston and overheating it and fusing the piston to the calipers. If you plan on replacing your brake fluid or flush it, give it some time to clean the areas(use a screw driver to remove rust) where brake pads meet caliper and piston and grease those areas so that the caliper can move freely. You will not regret doing it for a couple of minutes. The front pads are very easy to remove and clean.

I completed installing it and made sure all the areas were clean enough and smooth. a wire brush that you attach to a drill helps a lot in cleaning it faster. I'm happy with the installation and I know for sure I did it right. By the way, don't forget to bleed it after you are done. I hope this helps others who are planning on doing a DIY.
