Replaced fuel pump and P0440&p0441

afternoon all
I have a 2010 TE 4Runner

I have an odd question
I had this fuel pump replaced about two weeks ago. They did a hard reset by disconnecting the battery and I drove off.
About every two days since then I keep getting a p0440 & P0441 code.

Each time I clear the codes with a handheld reader they come back.

The easy answer is to take it back to the mechanic,BUT...
Does anyone have an idea of what may have occurred or needs to be corrected to prevent the code from returning?
Online sites suggest:
Bad gas cap
Cuts or hols in tubes or hoses near Evap
Disconnected hoses for Evap
Evap purge sensor
Purge valve

Any thoughts?
I do not want to drop it off and be without the vehicle for two to three days

They could have pinched the fuel pump seal or left a hose loose that connects to the evap. system. I don't know the exact way the fuel pump is replaced in these vehicles, but it could be anything related in that area. Have you topped off your tank after the repairs? Did you notice any fuel leaks from the tank area after fill up?

Can't really do much if its not the gas cap or if you don't notice any loose harness connections of lines from the gas tank area.

Thanks no looked as best as possible without dropping the tank but did not tic anything. I have a gut feeling ill just have to drop it off. I suspect a pinched line that may have gotten cut or disconnected

Whatever it is, it appears likely they caused it. I'd want them to fix it. I'd make the case to the SM that since they (likely) caused it, you need something to drive - even if it's a used Corolla.

You buy the 4R from them?
