Replaced my L-trim today

Like some of you, my L-trim pieces were rusted pretty bad. Recently my buddy donated two semi-used ones to me. So I just got done installing both of them. Not too bad of a job actually. I spent about 30 mins. on each side.

Instead of replacing the butyl rubber tape, I took Slacker's advice and heated the old tape with a heat gun, and they both sealed right back up. I bought some butyl tape in case I HAD to replace it, but I'll be returning that and getting my $20 duckets back!

It's a straight forward job, but if anyone needs a confidence boost before trying it, hit me up.

Eventually I'll get around to doing this, cept I was going to spend a little more on fiberglass replacements.

That's in my future as well. I'm about to deploy to Kuwait for a year, and seeing how these were $free.50, I went ahead and swapped them. My old ones were pretty sad looking.

I'd like to replace every panel on my T4R with fiberglass....maybe one day
