Just curious for a 2002 4runner 5vz-fe what is a good aftermarket replacement for the catalytic converters?

Looking for some brands that have been used and have good fitment and if known, have been lasting a while

Got my stolen back in May of 2013 and had it replaced with Walker Universal Part 15037 for $61.37 at advance auto parts and $80 for installation from a local muffler shop.

No error codes yet and everything looks to be working great!

Edit: It's currently ~$51 on Amazon.com

Not gonna cut it on a 2002 two-cat system.

To Satek: Would that same universal work on a 2001 2wd v6 T4R?

I bought a Magnaflow weld in from Advance. Working with no issues for about six months now.

Well was more so looking for bolt on options as my exhaust is pretty rusted (2002 with 130k all original exhaust)

Just had a leak not long ago that I fixed
(after the second cat the nuts on the studs rusted and fell off but left the studs if they were even studs, heated those and hammer them out put on new hardware and a gasket and was good to go)

got the p0420 code i'm assuming was just because of the leak but no codes since so i'm probably good but if I have to replace the cat sometime in the near future id like to be prepared with what to look for

sounds like another leak is starting but not from the previous location, this time further up
