Replacement head Light bulbs

Sylvania 9003/HB2 SU/2 BP TWIN SilverStar Ultra Headlight, someone on Amazon said they only last 4 months and when he called Sylvania about this they said some cars put 15 volts into these lights instead of 14 and they burn out faster. I don't know what my 96 SR5 uses so what bulbs do you are the best?

I have the SUs you are talking about in my 96 sr5, and I run daytime running lights since I am in canada. I have had the bulbs in for 10 months now with no problems... just make sure you dont touch or impact the glass of the bulb itself when you are installing it and youll be fine. for the record, light output is drastically better

also, sylvania plainly states on the the packaging that the SUs dont last as long as OEM light bulbs, so i wouldnt expect 5+ years on a pair of bulbs but i doubt they will fail after 4 months, unless you install them like a pikey
