90010-09015 is the part number for the 4th gen's a/c climate control back lighting... Each knob has one. I just ordered some from my dealer and they are $3.20 each and take 2-3 days to get.
Oh and btw I did the same as you, and went to autozone, etc looking for that type of bulb. It is so tiny and I could not find anyone who would carry it but the dealer.

Pull up on the black center compartment under the climate control. That just slides up and out. Then unscrew the only screw directly underneath the climate control. Once you do that pull the whole climate control unit out towards you. It sometimes is in there pretty good. Clips are the only thing that is holding it on. Unhook the cable and turn the climate control over. The back of each knob you will see a small hole towards the center. Take a small flat head screw driver and turn the neo-wedge adapter counter clockwise.Turn it up side down and it should fall right out into your hand. Replace and enjoy your new amber a/c controls!

Do not know if this will apply to everyone doing this but I also noticed the new neo adapters that are with this part number are slightly different than the originals. Meaning when you put the new ones in and tighten to the right, they have a different fitment. They fit perfectly fine, just a little different from the originals.

Well I changed out the bad bulb. Taking out the middle console the first time is not for the faint of heart. About the time you think something is going to break it pops out. Anyway, after changing out the ONE bad bulb I replace the console only to find I broke TWO other bulbs. Back to the the Toyota dealer. What I learned from this so far is plan on replacing all the bulbs when you have it apart and you shouldn't have to take it apart again!

Does anyone know if part number 90010-09015 (long yellow) used for the rear defog illumination or is it 90010-09019 (long green)?
According to this it doesn't matter?

I replaced several of these bulbs this week. I believe 90010-09015 is the toyota part number for the long bulbs. The bulb itself is clear, you just remove the yellow or in my case green nipple and put it on the new blub. Instead of paying 5 bucks for the bulb at Toyota I actually went to Radio Shack and bought the bulb discussed in the thread below. The thread conatins some good pics showing how to install the replacement bulbs.

So I replaced the light bulb and the knob is still not lighting up. The arrows for the auto or a/c light up but not the actual "Auto", "A/C" "Up" or "down".

my up/down arrows don't light up currently, but my display is out as well. i'll be replacing the display backlights this week and post back if i figure that riddle out.

center console readout bulbs
I just replaced the center console message display center bulbs with those i bought at radio shack (lampt type 7219, part # 272-1092) ... and I noticed that these bulbs are slightly smaller than the OEM bulbs.
They still work, but appear to be dim as compared to the OEM ones. I went back to radio shack, but did not find any other ones that were a larger diameter. Maybe I have to buy the OEM ones ?? Are they brighter than the radio shack ones ?? has anyone esle experienced this ??
I searched the internet quickly for larger diameter bulbs, but not found anything yet.
