Replacement radiator on a 2002 SR5 automatic 2WD

Hey guys,
I just purchased a used 2002 4runner, and sadly I didn't give the Radiator a good enough look over, and now that I have driven it I noticed that the top metal cap is leaking a little on the passengers side. When talking to the guys at work, one said that I should solder it to seal it, another said to replace it with a Plastic tank radiator, and the other said to only replace it with Toyota parts. I was leaning towards using the OEM part, until I saw the price tag, 550$, HOLY CRAP. So I decided to ask this group as you guys know a heck of a lot more about this stuff then I could ever hope to know.

What do you guys think I should do?

I bought a re-man OEM radiator for $120 about 4 years ago. I would call up some local radiator shops and see what they have. Usually I am very much an OEM kinda guy, but in the case of a radiator, I honestly think an aftermarket one (if you can save a lot of $$) isn't going to hurt anything. Radiators are so uncomplicated, it would almost be hard for an aftermarket company to make a bad one. $550 is a joke IMO for a rad.
