Replacing alternator

Im replacing my alternator, but cant get the connection out from the back of the alternator. Its the connection with the T your supposed to push down. Anyone know what to do?:wtf:

Anyway, I believe you pull up on the tab to release the alternator control harness.

Ive wanted to move to cali for a loooooooong time now. Was it hard to move there and get citizenship?

It can be a pain if it hasn't been off for a while but you have to get your hand in close to the alternator body and squeeze the plug and while wiggling it, pull it off. The release clip is on the wheel side of the alt (IIRC) and it's tight against the alternator.
