Replacing blown JBL sub (wire question)

So my sub let go... I bought this:

Its a 2ohm sub with a red/black on left and red/black connection on the right.

The stock had those 2 clips and black/green wires and red/yellow

How would I wire this new sub up?

I hooked up all 4 and nothing. unlplugged the red/yellow and it seemed to work... I'm not sure how to wire 2 ohm subs....

you have a similar one to what i have. With an aftermarket amp for the sub alone, youll have great sound.

Going from memory, I beleive the stock sub was 1ohm DVC (dual voice coil.) By hooking the after market sub that is 2ohm DVC, to the factory amp, you would get half the power to each coil. Doubling the impedance, halves the power output. The stock amp is already really low power and you would be cutting down in half. You can meter the outputs to determine exactly what the rms is, guessing it would be really low in your setup. Like <25 rms probably. You want to get a new amp for your new sub. Install would be real easy and you can keep your stock amp for the interiors if you want.
