Replacing Crank seal

I'm replacing the front crank seal, due to a leak. There's one in the front and one in the back. Do I need to replace both? The leak is coming from the front seal.

Thanks in advance.

The rear main seal is another animal unto itself. Don't change it unless you need to, or for some odd reason, have the transmission out.

How do you get to the front seal once you have the crank pully off? Do you need a gear puller or anything like that to get to it?

So... the crank seal is right behind the gear that the TB wraps around?
What is the best way to get to the crank seal?

bump. anyone know how to get to the lower front crank seal after the harmonic balancer is off? Need to change mine too as everything is off now.
