Replacing fog light bulbs

So I'm trying to replace my bulbs today and I turned the bulb counter clockwise but it won't unseat when I do that. Is there another step I'm missing? Does it take some force?

Try this thread, there are a few pictures of the headlights and the fog light assembly that might help.

One thing I learned when doing this is that if you unplug the connector first on the back of the factory fog-light bulb it then allows you to untwist completely in order to then pull the bulb out.

That's exactly what it was. Had to unplug the connector first. It was driving me nuts
