replacing head lights

What are most people using for aftermarket head lights on 3rd gens? I'm looking for a replacement that is very bright and has a white look to it.

I got the sylvania silverstars. Tons better than stock. I got these cause they seemed like the best bang for my limited $$$$

definately go for the silverstars, especially in the fogs, as they are really really bright and are very white

What is the procedure for replacing the fogs? Is that a tough job?

I haven't changed my fogs but have the same question i have a feeling its not very hard probably unscrew the back on the assembly. But i have changed my headlights and theres a huge difference. I have found that the stock fogs are a whiter light than the stock headlights and have a very similar appearance to the silverstar headlights and look great.

i use piaa xtreme white plus for my headlights and all my signals and stoplights and parking lights, itll cost u about 120 for everything, u can get the headlight bulbs on ebay like i did., i bought all other lights from piaa.com

What is the procedure for replacing the fogs? Is that a tough job?

its not too tough, just remove the 3 screws taht hold in the plate below the fogs and loosen the spring taht holds the bulb in place. the plug is more of a little wire that comes off the bulb (H3 55W btw...) and inserts into a female connector thats part of the car's wiring. just be sure to not tough the actual lens with your fingers as the grease on them (whether its from the car of natural perspiration) will affect the light's life. water got in one of my assembleys recently, causing the fog to explode and the connector to corrode inside the female adapter...so now i only have one fog until i shell out god knows how much for the dealer to fix it.

I use the silverstar's as well... and like them very much... One thing i wish i did sooner was disable the DRL so they aren't used all the time.. I only drive a couple miles a day to/from work so i dont really need them on all the time..
