Replacing JBL stereo in 2003 Limited - Recommendations?

I recently purchased a 2003 4Runner V8 4WD Limited and the CD player doesn't work (won't load the CDs). I would like to replace it with a stereo that has single CD, plus A/V input and USB input (preferably in the glove box). Does anyone have recommendations?

First thing is to decide if you want to keep the stock amp. I'm rethinking my decision to keep it...

I've actually been reading a lot of threads on here and now I'm inclined to keep the current JBL stereo and just add AV and USB to it. I took the stereo out the other night (really easy by the way) and hopefully fixed it. There was an old CD the previous owner had left stuck in there. Seems to be working well now.

Does anyone have suggestions on the best aftermarket AV and USB kit to use?

Something to keep in mind. You can swap the unit out with JBL head units from 4runners through 2009. I put a 2006 into my 2003 which then gave me the Acc input and 6 cd capacity. Additionally, I put in an iPod /apple connection via a kit I got on eBay for I think about $75 or so. Later year head units an eb had cheap via eBay or the T4R buy trade section. 2006 and later are the upgraded units, not sue if later years also added USB, but 06 did not.
