Replacing upper rad hose?

If I were to replace my upper rad hose, how much coolant would I lose? Would I just add some to the coolant reservoir if I lost any? Should I replace those clips on both ends as well or would the original ones do? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

you can keep the same hose clamps.

wait till your engine is cool.... that hose gets HOT. you wont lose much. have a container ready. undo one end, and turn it up, then slowly lower it into your open container, allowing the coolant to drain out.

itll eventually stop (not much in there)... then undo the other end. install the new one, and youre done.

just take a look after a short drive at your reservoir... if it fell below the F then add that small amount in.
