Replacing Valve Cover Gasket, Plus what else?

Looking to replace the valve cover gasket and was wondering what else could be replaced while it's apart?

The 2 things that are apparent are throttle body gasket and the upper intake plenum but I was also thinking about doing the lower intake one too. I'm thinking for removing the lower intake manifold there is a special fastener, like a torques head? Any idea or size?

Also, checking the valve clearance, looks like it is bucket type lifters so I would likely check clearance but no further action unless there is some compelling need to being you have to remove the camshafts and that probably means removing the timing chain too. Does that sound correct?

I just replaced one of my valve cover gaskets. I found out I was supposed to replace the rubber washers on the 3 long bolts which are next to the coils. Since I didn't have them I didn't replace them. That's something you can look into.

the 2 nuts and 4 bolts that secure the manifold in place. This is where you need the 8mm hex

Also thinking might be best to leave the lower intake manifold gasket alone being the fuel rail and coolant drain are involved. Any input here is welcome? Thinking that is something I'll likely decide when it's apart.
