resonator stay clamp

couldn't find the right thread to post this in, but my resonator has come apart from the stay clamp and i am wondering how to reattach it. in the photo, the bottom peg came out of the stay clamp, but when i hold it back up, they don't quite line up. could the pipe be bent? the second photo is of the pipe just chillin' on the frame. there's a rattling coming from that part of the truck and i think this may be it. is there a part that's missing? or does the peg just go in the hole somehow? online parts diagrams aren't helping too much.

From the second picture, it looks like your piping is bent where it drapes over the frame. There shouldn't be any kinks in those bends that I recall.
