so I called Toyota of Dallas... there were 4 seat bottoms in CA and 2 seat backs in TX... had them order them and confirmed they could get them. so maybe in a couple of weeks I will have some new cushions. along with new seat heaters I will be sweating my way thru the MN winter

Truth be told, for $150 you can have a local auto upholstery place re-foam the bottom. Especially if you carry it in already disassembled.

I just took my 01 to an upholstery shop where they recovered both front seats with new foam, best upgrade ever, feels like a new smoother suspension went in, multiple stages of foam compression from baby soft to pretty firm, no bottoming out anymore. Luck. :cowboy:

They look great. If you don't mind sharing, how much did it cost total?

i had the same problem. My driver seat foam was so bad that I was leaning. Took it for refoaming and upholstery at a local place and it turned out great. No more leaning when I drive.
