reverse light bulbsize

want to get leds for my reverse lights , is it just 921 or can i use another size . any help will be appreciated thank you .

Haven't looked into anything or tried anything but you can check out these...

921 not very bright...

I tried the 921-x12 Wedge Base LED bulbs but they only provide 75* of light and the WLED-WHP5 (360* light) are interchangeable with the 921 wedge bulb.

I'm running the WLED-WHP5 and they work great.

I tried those (WLED-WHP5) and was not too happy with the light output, so I had some WLED-WHP9-T (White) laying around and put them in. They were an improvement even over the WLED-WHP5's. It is like having mini headlights back there for back-up lights now. :frog:

A lot of these seem to be on Amazon for pretty good prices - better than what i paid through a seller on here. Hindsight, 20/20. Anyway, the brand is AGT for the 5 SMD LEDs and on the second page, I think you can see the Cree bulbs I paid $30 for. If you don't want the Cree ones, you can get the 9 SMDs that he mentioned up there ^

Anyway, you should be able to do all of your bulbs in your car for a lot less than the ~$105 I paid.

@ gamerc - Is this the cree bulb you refer to?

Philsey, yeah that looks pretty close. The body is the same, but the color of the plastic base was white instead of black. Later tonight I'll post a pic of them when I got them.
