Rhino Liner or Line-X exterior??

just curios if anybody has done this on on bumpers and flares or even there stock rims... I see a lot of plasti-dip stuff but lookin for something that's gonna last a bit longer without touch-ups!!

I have seen an FJ cruiser with Rhino Lined bumpers and it looked okay, the texture is what really set me off to be honest; but I have seen it done and it seems to work pretty damn well.

I've seen Line-X on bumpers and on the bottom panels of an FJ. It looks good. IMO, Line-X looks better as it stays shiny and won't fade (with the UV option). It also won't tear up your cloth if you need to wipe it like with the Rhino Liner. I'm not sure if it's a good idea or even possible to do it on wheels, though - balance issues and it will chip off during tire changes since it will be about a bit more than 1/8" thick.

Line-X is a lot cleaner and A LOT more durable than Rhino Liner. I think it looks good on black trucks because it is sort of a clean transition of color.

When I sprayed the bed of my duramax they had to sand all the paint lightly so the Line-X would adhere properly and they put about an 1/8'' thick layer down. Doing the hold bed of my truck it only added about 30lbs to the overall weight of the truck. PLUS if Line-X chips it has warranty and they can just re-spray a spot.

Google search 4runner and tacoma line-x and you'll find a few results. One member here did it on a fourth gen, it was color matched and looked great.

i used monstaliner for my 3rd gen, a lot cheaper then line x and you can do it yourself
