New to the forum, owned a 95 t4r. Ended up selling it, trading in my 2011Wrx and buying a 4Runner. Looking to do some modifications and hit some trails.

T4R Mechanic Recommendation

Nice rig!

Could anyone recommend a 4Runner mechanic for the West Greenwich, Rhode Island area?

Thanks.

Magnetic gray at dealer in East Prov.
To bad they are so hard to do business with
They slap a 200 wax treatment on 4 runners - called Zurich / just to add to profit margin

They were way out of mkt on price - go to mass and save 500 to 900 for the same 4 runner

Bought a trail premium at toyota of acton last week

2016 SR5 premium here. I'm from RI but couldn't get a good deal in this state. Tarbox had some decent deals but nothing great. Dealt with Boch Toyota South in North Attleboro. Worked a deal over the net without even stepping into the dealership. Sticker was $39,200. Got it for $35,300. Also got within $500 of KBB top value on my trade. Put a deposit over the phone and just went in to do the paperwork. I use Tarbox for service, however, as they are close to me. I'm in SK.

nice pro

did you have the driver and passenger windows tinted?
If so where did you have a the "gangster glass" done? I want to get mine done .
The night time glare from the side mirrors is annoying.
Also I solved the blind spot issue--------- found a thread on this site that called out that OEM mirrors from RAV4 - can be used on 4runner's--- they work well and snap right in , also have the defrosters built in.
Worth spending the $100 to upgrade if you do highway driving.

Another RI 4Runner owner here. Anyone looking to meet up and try to find some offroad trails? From what I have read and heard everything is out of state.

I'm down on Aquidneck Island. 2012 Trail Edition, completely stock!

Hey from the Cape, in MA. I am looking for some decent trails that a stock 4Runner can handle with an experienced driver myself!

Nice TRD Pro. I have a Magnetic Gray TRD Pro. I'm currently in CT and I am planning on adding Toytec TRD pro lift, 285/70r17 tires, wheel spacers 1.25", N-Fab or C4 sliders. I'm a little behind from you! Let me know when you're close by or something

I'll be up there in the Danvers area by the end of the year.

Hey - new to forum

Hello fellow Rhodies-

Im looking for a trails in Rhode Island. I currently have '98 4R base model and tomorrow, Im flying down to Knoxville TN to pick up my 2016 4R TRD Pro in Quicksand and driving it back to RI. I live in Westerly/Watch Hill and spend a lot of time on east beach in my old 4R which I have the undercoating for. Can someone recommend a shop that will be willing to apply the film to the bottom of my new ride in RI? Some say it not necessary but I think it helps either way.

Does any one a online shop for aftermarket 4Runner supplies in the NE area?

Happy for any advice as far as easy and improving add ons to better my new ride when I return in a few days.

thanks !
Morgan
