I got a very bad burn dealing with them on a used car last year.
They are pro's and enforce a script system and sales warfare that really works well.

I found out from a sales guy there that they treat their employees as bad as their customers.

Be sure to do your internet Goggling before you buy from any dealer.

About 1 in 5 are OK, but who knows which one ?

I had the same problem with them, flew up there to buy a 4runner and it looked like hell and had rust from front to back. They neglected to tell me this and still wanted 22k for the truck. I laughed and flew back home. :bash:

Flew up where if you don't mind me asking. I have on in Fayetteville, NC that probably shouldn't be trusted with rotating your tires let alone handling your business. Sometimes 2-3 hours to get the oil changed in my Tundra (Toyota care), without much of a care that you are there. I avoid that place now....Rick Hendrick will NEVER get my business, and I will always tell everyone to go somewhere else.

Yeah, they are still terrible

Long story short, still trying to get my $500 deposit back from these guys after they failed to deliver the T4R I ordered, when they guaranteed it would arrive on time or I could get my deposit back. They knew they couldn't make the delivery on time for days (in fact, it would be at least 30 days late) yet they failed to tell me that, even when I called several times to check up on delivery.

Bought somewhere else (exact same configuration for abour 4k less). I will probably back up my new 4Runner right up to their front door some time next week so they can get a good look at another dealer's badges while I get them to give me my money back.

Have purchased three new vehicles from "Sandy Springs" Toyota, two before and one after Rick Hendricks took over. My long-time service writer is still there, so I'll keep taking them there for service until he leaves. I will not purchase another vehicle here. Although our salesman was courteous, the "process" they put you through is ridiculous and demeaning. In addition, they kept "losing out" to other dealerships on reserving a vehicle for us. Took (seriously) four months from start to finish to actually take delivery. Did I mention I paid with a cashier's check???

I went to several dealers before Rick Hendrick, did my research online, and negotiated a great deal there on a 2016 T4R SR5. I didn't have to spend all day negotiating a deal. It helped that I had done the research so I knew what to pay and I knew what my 2014 JGC LE was worth.

They were the only one that had what I wanted in stock. Another told me it would be 8 weeks to get what I wanted.

I took the T4R in today to get accessories added and I was very impressed with the service department.

I had a great overall buying experience there but I dealt with new sales and not used so maybe that was the difference.

This was the Sandy Springs location.

My issue with them and the SE distributors is that they force you to buy Toyoguard elite and won't let you order one without either the sliding cargo deck or 3rd row, and typically they include the protective film. Plus the majority of their stock is 2wd, making it hard to get a deal for 4wd. Who was the salesperson you dealt with?

I'm thinking about going 3 hours to Tennessee which isn't part of the SE distributors to get a better deal, but am not sure how the taxes and the title ad valorem will work.
