Ricochet LCA + RCI Skids ?

Anyone run, or know if the Ricochet aluminum LCA skids will work with RCI full skids?

Very few run either let alone together. RCI is fairly new and I only know a few members with ricochet lca skids. You can always trim the skids, that's what I had to do for my BAMF skids to clear the 4+ engine skid. Just pull the trigger on the RCI's, from what I've read, you won't be disappointed. Plus they're cheaper and lighter than bud built.

Yeah for my light-duty needs, I think they'll be fine for now. I can always sell them off as needs change.

They're still 3/16" steel or 1/4" aluminum, the same thickness as bb skids but not as much coverage.

Anybody running this set up? I have the RCI's and am now looking at the Richochet LCA skids...compatible without any modifications?

I emailed Josh at RCI & he says they should fit no problem. I have the Ricochet LCA's but haven't ordered the RCI's yet but plan to at some point.

We shall see. I just ordered a set of Ricochet LCA skids and should know if they are compatible next week.

This combo fits just fine. Install of the LCA skids takes about 15-20 minutes.

Are LCA skids just for looks? I can see if they cover the cam bolts they would be effective, but a lot of them don't seem to do that.

For me it was 50/50. I saw an FJ with them in Ouray and thought it looked cool, and I suppose they also add some protection. I believe the BAMF LCA skids cover the cam bolts, however, I don't know if they can be combined with the RCI skids without modification. Plus, these LCA skids are aluminum so they are nice and light.

BAMF lca skids require about an inch to be cut off to make them fit with most engine skid plate, but they do cover the cam bolts.
