Ride Quality? Recommendations??

So my 2001 suspension has had it, and now it is an extremely rough & bouncy ride. I have no intention of selling the ride and would like to go through with a lift. I have been looking at this OME Lift @ Toytec:

What can i expect of a ride quality after it is installed compared to what i am feeling now? Will the lift increase the rigidity of the suspension or be somewhat forgiving?
Also I am planning on getting the coils/shocks pre-assembled and ready for a bolt on application......thoughts.

I have the same lift and installed it 2 months ago. Prior to that my 99 had a suspension that was well past it's prime. I would hit the bump stops on relatively mild bumps, and the tipping point for me was a shock that busted while traveling over a speed bump.

Ride qualitly over what you feel now will be night and day. If yours is rough and bouncy, it will go to firm, and controlled. Keep in mind, that you will "feel" more of the bumps, surface road imperfections etc. but it will be more stable, controlled, and in my opinion... safe. You won't nose dive when you get on the brakes hard either, which is nice.

Now, I will tell you that if the road has imperfections in it, you will feel every one of them to some extent. Where I live there are a lot of roads in the immediate area that are concreate with expansion joints. It can be a tad on the harsh side from time to time, but in all honesty, I am getting used to it and much perfer the feel over what it was before.

BTW, I went with the OME 881's up front with no top plate spacer, and the OME 890's in the rear. Slight rake, but looks fantastic if you ask me. Also expect that your CV boots might seep a tad bit of grease after the change in angle... nothing a little hose clamp or two can't remedy. Hope this helps!

Thats the same set-up I just did. I had them pre assemble the fronts aswell. My stock suspension wasn't completly blown out but switching to the OEM kit made a huge difference. On highway the ride is probably 10-15% firmer. You will still feel pot holes and what not but it absorbes them nicely as opposed to jarring the truck loose. Offroad it's night & day between stock. I was able to go down a local dirt trail 2 to 3 times faster than normal while feeling good at the same time. I don't really have anything negative to say about the set-up. I enjoy it every day. No I had my friend/mechanic do the install. The fronts were easy but the rear was a bit harder. Took about two hrs with a lift
