Rig Update ***PICS***

When I put the LC coils on I also did the toytec panhard drop bracket. The weld that I had done on it broke, so the back end has been really squirlly on the highway for the last few months. Major thanks to Glen, he helped me make a new drop bracket. We essentially extended the toytec bracket 3" and added a diagonal brace for extra support. All i need to do is add some paint.

panhard bar is pretty much level now.

I also removed the Fabtech coil overs that i have been running for about 4 years and installed the toytec coil overs. These things lifted the front to just about the same height the rear is at with the LC coils. After driving about 30 miles on the new coil overs i noticed that the cv's were leaking pretty bad. I then installed the toytec diff drop. It helped with the CV angles a little. Not sure if they will still be leaking, but we shall see tomorrow. I'm thinking I'll take ric's suggestion and go to the hardware store and get a hose clamp to tighten them up a little.

nice work! especially on the PH bracket. Keeps looking better every time you post up pictures. And yes 315's are imminent in the future for you if you want to sell them 285 lemme know it will be a good excuse to got to CO and tool around with you guys on them rocky mountain trails.

It's hardto level out the runner with lc coils. The best suggestion is 882, maybe 883.. Idk haha don't quote me.

thanks! I'm not really sure. These front coils are actually meant for the tundra and are longer. I only have them cranked up half way. I would guess with the body lift I'm at 6" in the rear and about 5.75" in the front.

I'm really not in the market for tires now. It would be nice... but it'll have to wait till these are bald, and I have some more $$$. Not sure what tire I'll go with next. No complaints with the KM2's though.

I've thought about it, but it really doesnt bug me all that much. I may someday if i'm bored. But it doesnt bother me nearly as much as the gap between the front bumper and the grill.

Yeah like 4mudder said, its pretty hard to level them out. Look into MillerPKA's set up. he is running OME something or another and it sits level.

I think I read somewhere in another post that your ground to fender measurement was 47" front and rear. Is that still true in these pics? My sas appears it is going to have my truck at about 49-50 inches with 35s. I am sure it will settle down a little but just would like to have a tall truck to compare mine to. Thanks.

No, definetly not 47". lol. The rear is at 42". I'm not sure what the front is at. I can measure and post a pic up tomorrow. Here is where the back is at from the ground:

Now that you have re-centered the rear, you better take a close look at your gas tank and that pesky grease nipple on you drive shaft that gets in the way

man, im getting super impatient now, had my toytec coilovers since August and havent gotten them on yet.

You will have to weld it on. If you just bolt it, your back end will be all over the place on the highway.

If you got jack stands I can help you do it in a parking lot.

An alignment wouldnt hurt. I didnt mess with the ball joints or anything with the steering, so it's not completely necessary. But I'm going to get one as soon as i get the tie rod ends replaced.

thanks. I dont think its really necessary unless you have a pretty big lift. I was running a 2.5" lift with a 1.5" BL for a long time without one and it was fine.
