Right Locker

I am considering a Richmond Lock Right Locker for my 92 4runner 6 cylinder. I do not use this vehicle much. Mostly only to drive to and from a boat ramp, about 10 minutes away, maybe a dozen times a month and launch a boat. The area is however very muddy at times, after rains. Can anyone tell me of the pros and cons and if there is anything special I might run into that could cause a problem if I decide to install it? Thanks.

I don't know anything about that brand.
I have an Aussi Locker in my '87. It is realtivey easy to install and works great. The price is pretty low to boot...
You just have to modify your driving style a bit until you get used to having it back there. It is easier to break the back end free in the rain on a turn, so learn how your truck reacts with a locker.

Thanks for that information. That does seem like a noce locker. However when I looked up that type of locker it is quite a bit more expensive then the Aussie or the Richmond. While I do not need something for serious off road I also do not want to spend any more then needed and I am not worried about any noise that the other might make. My biggest concern is that it goes together easily. Most of the adds all tell you how easy they install and I was concerned if that was really true or just hype.

No problem, cost is always a concern nowadays. The Aussie is a good investment.
