Rigid Industries DOT Dually Fogs Installed

Just finished install, built my own parts kit at considerable savings too. Used a Deutsch to H11 plug kit from amazon and with a minor trim off bottom tab works with stock fog light harness. Polarity is correct and comes right on, no flickering. Perfect. But install was pain in ass, because removing bumper was not an option due to heavy rigid led bar mounted, and with bushwacker fender flares installed. WARNING passerger side has a cover that needs to be removed. Had to peel back fender liner without cracking it. Driver side took 15min. Passenger side took 2hrs with not trying to break anything. Added heavy tape to tab on rigid mount, during a test fit it wobbled a little and tape fixed that. Once everything in place all bolts tightened. Need to wait for it to get dark and see what needs to be adjusted up or down.

Which side is this light shown here - passenger or driver? Trying to find out which side is which for the rigid bracket. FML

I used lamin-x amber film on the rigid fogs and here’s the results. Headlights are stock halogens. I bought 4300 HID’s but I’m having 2nd thoughts on installing them.

Yes, you can adjust the beam up and down.

Do you have a picture from the front? I am thinking of doing this as well, but worried that it might not look right. I am glad to see that the light output is not green as some have said would happen.

I only have this. Hope it helps. I’m using the dark orange/amber Film. Not the yellow.

If we are talking about the Rigid SAE fogs in the Rigid brackets in the stock fog location.... there is NO way to aim them down and they blind people and you will get flashed. Even if your truck is not lifted. They are also very heavy and will vibrate/bounce a bit over rough terrain. Grt lights IF you can mount them low or aim them down. I have a set for sale, including brackets.

you can aim them down. i just did mine. loosen the two side allen head bolts and the light/light trim will be pushed down until the top of the trim hits the fog light housing. its not much but its better then nothing.

Exactly, its not much, ie in my case not enough and ya, i did try that

I been having my lights for over a year now, even lifted 3" and I dont get flashed or anything. I adjusted them down when I first got them.
