Rigid industries group buy
Ok...like the title states, this is more or less a feeler thread. For those of you that already know me, I have a shop located in Chantilly, Va (NoVa), about 25 miles west of DC (Auto Repair Chantilly VA | Custom Tires | Wheel Center | Lift Kit). I have just set up my shop to be a distributor for RigInd. With the growing number of people here with a Gobi or Baja etc...I understand there is an interest in these awesome lights. They have a protected MAP pricing schedule that prevents me from listing specific pricing. So, here are my thoughts.
Because there are a number of options, specs, sizes, colors, etc...what do you guys think would be worth our while?
Buy a 30,40 or 50" and get a pair of "duallys" for free?
Buy 3- 6" and get one free?
Set a general discount of off retail? or specifics such as $15off 6", $20 off 10", $30 off 20", etc.
I am also willing to entertain some specific "deals", but can't commit the time to give everyone a specific quote. IE "I want 2x 6", and a 10" SR series, how much would that be?"
So I would really need a couple or several "kits" put together.
The process would be very time consuming for me and the shop because I know there are so many different ways to go about this. I would probably drop ship them directly from RigInd. General wait times for lights to show up at your door would probably be 3-4wks. I would also need enough people to commit to a purchase.
I am posting this in the 5th gen to get a feeler. Once I get something narrowed down, I'll post in the general section.
I hope I am not breaking any rules here as I am not a specific vendor, but I don't recall coming accross any RigInd distributors on this forum. And if I need to become a vendor, I will go through any of the red tape that is required. I am merely trying to set this up for my friends here on the forum.
