The lights are just plain sick.....what are the side ones?

How does the 10" rears light up past the spoiler?....does it leave a "dark spot"

The side LED's are sort of a custom job as far as mounting and the application. They are made by SoundOff Signal, see link: SoundOff Signal - GHOST Rock Light
I bought them from Amazon for about $100 as unit. They are really for emergency vehicles such as police cars. So one has to be a little careful with there use. Certainly if I decided to make the "flash" one day! he he


How does the 10" rears light up past the spoiler?
Good question, the answer is "okay". With these LED's there seems to be very little "spill off" of the spoiler. So it does not illuminate the bumper area etc... as well as one would like. I will take better pictures when I get her back to demonstrate this further.

In what sense do you mean a "dark spot"? Distance....? Middle....? Sides....?

Did gobi alter the rack to fit those lights or how did you mount them?

I think he means dark spot from hitting the spoiler, like when you put your hand infront of a flashlight.

Sure did. I worked closely with Paul with these lights for over six months. He redesigned the rack for me with basic brackets welded on (as you see in the images). There are not a part nor are they a patent. I am a great believer in doing it right the first time!

The answer is yes, I do get a "dark spot". I will post some pictures to clarify this.

Thanks Andrew...exactly what I meant.

Figured the spoiler would create a "shadow" behind the truck...but I'm sure more than adequate light past that.

I just got my Gobi rack installed and have been talking with Paul about options as well. Incidentally he has a couple of good photos of your light setup as well.

Right now I'm leaning towards doing a custom length 16" E-series in the middle flanked by two 6" E-series bars and then doing two 6" SR bars in the back . . . just need to figure out the lighting pattern for the front.

Yep there mixed up. The two outside 6'' units are flood and the Victory Series are spot and the outside amber are flood. Here is a diagram below that might help. How you planning to wire them?

Well, before I saw your setup I was thinking of doing the center as a spot on one switch and the two outside lights as flood with another switch (and the back lights on a third switch). However given the likelihood of using the lights during the winter with the snow I really like the idea of the amber lights (and an additional switch) . . . do you feel like you have enough straight ahead light with the portion that you have on spot? That would be my only concern . . .

Ryan, that’s a good concern to consider. It sounds better in Concept than in practice. So the center spot flood isn't really enough for a "distance illumination". The amber's are plenty and are frickin sweet. I do trails with just them on at night. :bat:

I have found though with my OME full beams on and all the LEDS including the amber's its PLENTY... I was thinking and still am about placing some "LightForce" units on the front bumper, if needs be for a further projection.

I wish I had my truck to take some pictures for you. It also depends on your need for these lights? I personally would not change what I have now. The floods are key in my opinion; the ambers are second to none. The 6'' SR on the rear is plenty as well. These 10'' SR I have are ALMOST brighter than the front!

Excited for you, I see your in Edwards thats 1.20 from me. Lets hit some trails (skis, or truck)!
