How do I take off the center cap on my runners wheels? I want to take it off and then take the emblem off if possible and plasti dip just the center piece I don't know of anyone doing this on here so I thought I ld test the waters with it!

Here's a pic of what I want to remove

Do I have to take the rim off completely to do just the center piece? If anyone wants to point me in the right direction I would appreciate it! Thanks!

They just pry off, I think there are a couple of slots in the sides for the jack tool or a flat head screwdriver.

There is probably a picture in the owner's manual if you have one.

The emblem isn't removable. I just dipped my wheels and wanted to do the Toyota symbol in red.

Could it be possible to put a later of masking tape over it and then use a knife to carve out the in between parts so that the tape is only on the Toyota symbol and then spray it?

i like to pop the caps off from the back side. if you try to use the slot to get them off if makes them bend and look bad

You could do that. What I did was just plastidip the whole wheel then went over the symbol with a red paint pen. What might be easier is to do the whole thing then with a exacto knife or razor go around the symbol and peel it off that way.

It is much easier to remove the wheel first, then the center cap just pops out with an easy tap from the back side. Prying it off from the front could cause damage to the plastic corner or scratch the wheel itself.
