RIMS? 15" w 31x10.50 or bigger?

morning T4R! I've recently acquired a 97 sr5 125k in anthracite metallic (bone stock!) with 15" alloys on the fence wether to powder-coat these and put some bfg all-terrain t/a ko 31x 10.50 OR to search high and low for a newer larger oem wheel 16" or 17" i really like the gen4 sport wheels but they aren't easy to come by open to suggestions TIA

I've got the 31X10.5s on my stocker 15 inchers and they're really a good running tire. They do rub a little at the end of turning radius because I don't have any lift whatsoever on mine (98 base model). HOWEVER- if you have any plans to do the Tundra Brake Mod you're going to need the 16s on it. As a result of those you'll almost certainly need at least a 2.5 inch lift set up. Your choice on this one. Enjoy either way - those BFGs are outstanding on wet pavement and dry as well. :
