Rims and Tires

I'm getting close to having to replace my tires on my '02. Want to add wheels too and am just wondering what the biggest rim and tire I can put on. I will eventually be adding a lift but not yet. Still want a decent ride/wear and a combo that will work now and after the lift. Any suggestion?

265/75r16 tires

and 16x7.5 or 16x8 with a 4.5" backspacing
