Ring gear size

Noticed my buddies 95 is leaking out of the diff and want to replace his seal, but I know the seal depends on the ring gear size. How can I tell his ring gear size?

That's what I thought but I was looking at the Timken seals on Rockauto and they list a 6.7, 7.8, and 8.25 ring gear. Not sure which one I need

Thanks for the idea. Had him buy one of the Marlin Eco seals. Might end up getting one for myself.
get the size from the sticker inside the driver side door
I already did. I know its an 8 inch. I just don't know where RockAuto /Timken got those odd numbers. Its a shame honestly, Timken is a great brand that I normally use. Rebuilt the whole fri=ont end of the Firebird with their bearings and seals.
