I think about selling every now and then, then I think about the money I've put into this truck and what the market thinks I could get back out of it and I toss that idea strait out the window. It would be fun to start a different project though..

I'm the same way.. I've often thought about selling mine, buying a car to dd, and using 3 or 4K of it to buy a dedicate crawler. But then I'd need a tow rig, trailer and a place to store it all. That's just not happening right now. I'm sure as hell never going to get what I'd want if I sold it either. I've invested more in this thing than it cost to buy it, and it wasn't cheap lol. I did almost trade for a sas'd taco though lol.

its freaking depressing to see what its worth, huh? I could see myself getting a bike pretty soon though to save gas.

Sorry rip - had to do mine too. But I'm surprised to know that my mileage isn't really affecting price at all compared to dylans. Mine KBB's at $3700 in "excellent condition"!! Course, I'd be lucky to get 3500 for it.

But why I replied was to say it's only depressing if you DO plan on selling it hahaha. As you already know, with all the work you've put into your truck there is no point in selling it, you might as well just wait for it to crap out and drop in another engine and tranny for $2000. But, when the time comes, there are still other engine options :driving:!! That's my plan.

The only thing that sucks is if you completely total it. That's all bad, insurance money-wise.

but a 1996 4runner 4x4, 5-speed, Diff Lock, with a new paint job is worth all of $3,175 in excellent condition.

haha you guys are funny, if I ever sold I would part it out though. well the parts that I could at least, some of it is kinda permanent.

I checked KBB also, I selected limited because they didn't have an option for sport and this sure as heckfire aint no SR5. They said $10,789 in excellent.

Haha! Same here! That matching bumper makes me change my boxers every so often. Ripcord really took his time building that thing. I also like his Field Monitor retrofit. IMO, you both did an awesome job.
