Alright, so I’m writing this as I’m pissed off, so if I use some language, please forgive me.
This evening while coming home from grabbing some yogurt with my girlfriend we were involved in a weird situation.
Long story short: I’m turning right from a turn only lane onto a road that has two lanes. Before I turn, I see a black mustang behind me (fifth generation mustang) there is only one lane to turn onto the road we were going to, and two lanes on the road we turn into once you’re on it. Naturally, since I don’t want to rub my tires and rims on the curb, I always turn into the left lane on that road. As I’m in the left lane I notice that black mustang riding my tail....I speed up to get him off of me, but he continues to stay on me. At this point by the time I sped up, I couldn’t get on my right lane because a car was there now. We come to a light shortly and he decides to get into the very left lane (which is a turn only) and cuts in front of me while we’re stopped at the light.
Anyways, the dude is waving his hands flicking me off for no reason that I can think of. As we continue down the road I keep my distance from him since he’s in front of me at this point. We are coming up to another red light with him on the right lane and me on the left this time, as I’m slowing down to the light I’m slowly passing him coming to a stop and he throws a metal rod at the passenger door and hits my vehicle with it. He gets behind me at that point and turns off into a subdivision quickly. By the time I could turn around and call the cops I couldn’t find where he went.
I’m really only writing this to vent. The damage isn’t bad but he definitely scuffed my paint and made three dents in my passenger door. Anyone ever have random road rage incidents like this? Can’t think of a reason he was so pissed, but this vehicle is my baby and the fact that this dude would damage my car for no apparent reason pisses me off.
Also, anyone know how to pop some dents out at home without taking it to a body shop?
Thanks and y’all drive safe. Never know hat dumbasses are out there.
