road trip

just completed a 2800 mile journey... the runner was awesome. 22 miles per gallon on the way, but 17 on the way home. damn west winds. it was the first major trip for the runner that wasn't just a couple hundred miles. for me at least.

I'm sorry... great falls, mt to bettendorf, ia for my wedding. wow, the flooding is unbelievable. 2 extra hours to get out of the state... detours galore.

I'm glad the 4Runner did well for you. The first road trip that my 4Runner went on was from northwestern Ohio (lima) to the Outer Banks in North Carolina. Mine also did very well and averaged about 20 mpg, which I thought was pretty good through the mountains. I hope for it to see many more road trips, but with the price of gas these days my dream road trip to Colorado may be just a dream.
