I rode it and many roads in the surrounding area, a few years ago. It seemed overcrowded, over patrolled, and as a result overrated, IMO.

Road to Hana - Maui

Anywhere Switzerland, any transportation
Between Interlocken and Bern is so nice.
Auto, trains, cog trains, funicular cable car, it all good.

PCH up the coast until you have done it so many times your butt hurts thinking about it.

The Ridge Route Over the grapevine.
Built before the 5 and 99 freeways.
I took it all the way thru 15 years ago but I believe parts of it are still closed.

395 in a CA / West Coast road trip was good to me... Plenty of stops, and camp spots along the way.

Its a well documented route if you google it... lots of do, lots of opinions.
