Cool thread, really enjoy the photos as well. I used to work up in the Yukon on a drilling rig doing mineral exploration. Beautiful country up there! I just picked up a silver 05' and will be visiting this thread for some ideas! Keep it up.

My tires are 275/70R17's. The spare fits just fine in the stock location! Hope this helps. There are quite a few people with bigger tires.. not sure about spare fitment though.

Thanks rickashay! Just peeked over at your build thread. You got a super clean runner congrats to you. I cant wait to return to the Yukon next summer, loved the time I spent in Dawson.
 
Would you mind telling me how much you ended up spending for your RTT and where you got it from? Did a google search and couldn't find too much info about pricing. Looking at CVT and can't yet justify the price, so just looking at other options and your RTT looks great/identical to the CVT. Thanks in advance!

Take a look at this one here as you can see one of my friends tacoma's is in their photos. My TJM Yulara is IDENTICAL to this one. I got mine from SoCal Supertrucks for about $1000. It is very comparable to CVT build quality. I couldnt justify the CVT price either.. thats why I went with another brand. Happy hunting! They are so worth it.
 
Absolute great pics and jealous of your truck and location. Had a buddy who was stationed up there for a few years and ended up ditching his fullsize GMC Diesel for a taco for the trails and terrain up there. Enjoy it while it last and keep the pictures coming!

Well I have not done anything to the 4runner in months now! It really sucks but it is just too damn cold in Fairbanks Alaska -_- but it's slowly getting warmer! It will be above zero tomorrow! Here is a picture what I've been doing in the mean time. A lot of pc gaming and just built this new PC 2 days ago!

More 4runner stuff will be coming next week!

What are the specs on your PC? I've been debating building a new one. My current one is 7 years old and too slow for anything but a paperweight.

Yeah 7 years is quite some time for a PC... Time to lay it to rest :rip:
