I love how you've made your storage container, how much di that cost to build would you say?

An all purpose primer. It was Rustoleum also I think.

I have enough scrap wood to make the storage box. Is the dimensions that you wrote on the pad the correct dimensions? It would save me the hassle of measuring and remeasuring. let me know if you made any changes.

I just drove through Colorado for the past week. Got stuck in that mess. The cold white stuff was fun to drive in but my 4runner is an absolute mess. We got hit hard in the Woodland Park area.

Yes all the measurement are correct except the height. I ended up more like 5 1/2" tall.

awesome rig and build, Just wondering your running stock UCAs with your 3" lift , hows it holding up and how does it ride so far? and may i know what was your alignment specs?

Thanks! It's been holding up well, I cant remember the specs but he said it was pretty close with the caster. I'm going to get it checked this week and I will keep you updated.

That rack looks awesome! I was thinking of making one myself as well. The Gobi is so $$$ and the leadtime is ridiculous. Couple of questions:
1) Did you weigh it?
2) Does your truck not have the shark-fin antenna?

Did you remove your carpet prior to installing your cargo box? I am really not finding to many forums that tell about removing carpet.

I havent weighed it but it should be around 70lbs and no my truck didnt have the antenna.

Yes I did, it was pretty easy. I just removed the rear sill plate and there is a trim panel up front you need to lift to remove the carpet.

Found it out last night tinkering around.
I'm just having a hard time trying to figure out a way to secure a storage box closesr to the opening, since mine did not come with the sliding tray, I really do not want to drill a hole in the floor.

Hit up twin cones yesterday. It was a super fun trail but we couldn't get to the very top because of the snow. I will have to go back in July or so.

You got further than I would have expected, though from last weekend to this it has been melting fast. I was camping just southwest of there down off hwy77. Last test run before the big road trip. Cruised around all those really easy trails checking for gear rattles and other strange noises. I'm guessing every pass over the divide is snowed in.

Went to Mt. Baldy again. This time made it all the way to the top. Great trail! We ended up on Eagle Rock trail on the way back and it was pretty rough but made it through. Here's some pics.
