rollled 2001 4runner

alright im new here and i have a 2001 4runner 4x4 that i rolled i have new front diff and center diff and rebuilt motor and trans i found a 97 with motor and transmission problems for cheap can i swap my parts over? or should i just take that body and put it on my chassis?

You can swap parts. There might just be some smog crap that needs to be swapped over to the 97. There will be small various differences, but it will work.

You want to know if it's easier to put the 1997 body on the 2001 chassis or to put the 2001 engine and trans in a 1997 4Runner?

I don't know what would be easier but I'd prefer to have a 1997 body on a 2001 chassis myself
